Liz [19 Oct 2008|09:00am] My sister is growing up so fast that I barely notice any small change in her. There are a lot of things I don't know about anymore. Like for one, she was head of the steering committee this year. I had no idea until she mentioned borrowing George. Of course I said no. I think she also joined Teatro this year. It was an unlikely decision. I didn't see it coming. She has started pouting in pictures, be wardrobe conscious ("I need to borrow your top! NOICAN'TWEARTHATTHEY SAWTHATALREADY!!"), combing her hair and making herself look human. Also, she doesn't use backpacks and carries small handbags instead. (Okay, what the hell. You're in high school, kid.). She'd rather be late than to be not able to take her 30-40 minute bath (I usually take five. Or ten.). She was also the muse for their mini-intrams. She listens to Chris Brown, Rihanna, ... RnB. GAH. Also, she spends her afternoons in Starbucks. Or Perk Avenue. Or in Timezone. Wow. Even I wasn't that extravagant when I was in my senior year. I only had Ice Monster, FIC and Charbroiled Burgers then. .... Which are almost as costly as Starbucks. Haha, okay, nevermind. She has been approaching me for her little girly problems too. "How do I curl my hair?" or "What do I wear for tomorrow?" kind of questions. Next thing I know, she'd be dating someone. Secretly. She doesn't fall off too far from the tree if that happens. Is it weird that we always work beside eachother but don't talk?

Christmas Come Early [30 Sep 2008|04:19am] There's nothing I want anymore. My desires are pretty much satisfied now. A D-SLR and a Mac Pro in a year. 8D It's nice to have hard-working parents. It makes me wonder if my future offsprings will love me as much. :-)) But yeah, my lust for any highly technological electronic device just died out. Yes, I'm not even interested in that Nano Chromatic. Or that iPod Touch, which they claim to be the funnest iPod ever (Watch their new ad in Apple.com. Ugh.). I just love to whine. :D Here are the things I'm saving up for: 1.) A router so I can finally have internet inside my room (Oh I WISH. I can only save 500 in a week. So.. it's either this or..) 2.) Starbucks. So I can have the 2009 planner. (Still crossing my fingers for a generous fellow. But let me know as early as now, please. XD) Any disorganized Starbucks patron there that can help me? 3.) That magenta wallet I saw in Landmark! So cheap that I can't let it pass. :( 4.) Clothes. I'm still a girl, after all. And maybe some shoes. 5.) Keyboard protector for my George Thanks, Santa ;)

4:31 AM [22 Aug 2008|04:30am] I feel bad about making this journal stagnant. It irks me every time I make a new journal (in an attempt to write better entries) because I don't see any change. Ugh. I'd like to delete every single journal to hide them from the world (not that you'd look at them). I wish there's a way I could save the whole journal in my HD by a click of a button. Anyway, I think I'm getting my Mac already. Yayyy. I've waited for it for so longggg. I'm pretty sure my carnal desires for any electronic gadget would temporarily die down after I get it. My list has always been: -decent cellphone (This was way way back in HS. I don't really give a damn now. I just need a phone that can text.) -D-SLR -own LCD desktop -iPod -PSP (Which I sadly don't get to use... maybe sa break?) -Wacom -Mac I feel so spoiled for getting these in just two years. But hey, I never really got anything before college. I watched as everyone listened to their iPods and used their laptops back then.. now it's my turn. Hahaha. GAH. I want to sleep already. More coffee, please?

Pressure. [14 Jul 2008|01:30am] MIDTERMS week. I don't know where to start! :( *breathe* Anyway, here is a sample line test for my 2D Animation class. It's a work in progress so by the end, the images just.. jump. LOL. But hope it's okay! :D For some reason.. I want to shift to Blogspot again. We all started there :D Also, I have more flexibility design and layout wise (if I have NO idea where to start). LOL. Or, I could just make a new journal [which would be my fourth one already!]. I find my old journals (LJ and Blogger alike) to be annoying to read (and yet I don't want to delete them!). I was so emo. I read some of my friends' old blogs and they were, like me, whiny. Hahaha. It was a phase I'm glad I'm out of. My old layout is itching to be revamped but I haven't had the time. Instead, I switched to S2 for a clean theme! This whole S2 thing is confusing me though. Delete my old accounts if you must, by the way. I don't want the extra clutter in your User Infos. :) Have some.. ( facepalm. )

Monday Morning [photos] [09 Jul 2008|01:45am] In an effort to make sure I wouldn't be late for my bowling class in Megamall, I woke up at 5:00 AM last Monday. I left at 6:00 AM, expecting to see traffic, long lines and shite. What greeted me though, was an empty street and terminal. Great. I was too early. I arrived at Makati by 6:30 AM. Together with Miguel (My 400D), I took a few photos [though a bit uninspired] ( ..and here's Makati like you've never seen her before! )

It's been 2 days since I got here in LA.. [02 May 2008|10:02pm] [ mood | hungry ] - - and I have been sleeping for HOURRSSSSS. I literally haven't left my bad for more than 14 hours. LOL. I'm not sure if it's jet lag as I never had it. I could be just tired. xD Anyway, after recovering, I've picked up my SLR and started taking pictures from the backyard and the lawn. So far I only have.. flowers. It's a start, LOL. I've been taking photos while reading my 400D User's Guide. It's all going to change tomorrow as I'm off to Fresno. :) As soon as I have time to load photos, I will. :D :D I also started watching Dr. Phil. I think it's a very interesting show. Do they have it back there? Let me just say before I leave that CHEESE. .... It's not just dairy. .... It's the food of the gods. *_* Now imagine me saying this whilst I was in Ralph's huge cheese section. LOL. I refused to eat anything that'll make me bloated in this place hence asking for brocolli in melted cheese (so much for that, hahaha) for the evening meal. Oh. And Chowking here is over-priced. It's like $8/meal. No way. XD ~

As I was DA hopping, I chanced upon a full-blooded Korean (who can speak Filipino and Korean well, based on what I saw) who claims: "Parts shipped from Korea, Made in the Philippines". He also says he's "A pure Korean but a Filino by heart." I think it was just beautiful. :) I don't know too many Filipinos who're proud of being one. It shouldn't be too hard making friends seeing I live in a place swarming with Koreans (possibly their evil lair, hahaha) and I study in a school full of them too! But then, I don't have any reason to talk to them at all. And they look like they have their own lives and are uninterested to talk. Meh.

AESTHETICS finals [27 Apr 2008|10:41pm] [ mood | busy ] ( It's huge, I'm sorry x3 ) 4.0 :) Something I saw, just tonight. This was taken from Lizzie's cam phone, the night I finished it. Although the painting, isn't that much (it lacks details, still), I submitted it anyway (partially wet from all the oil used) and had a good grade. There's meaning behind every symbol you see there. However, due to the way I posed in front of it and how it was taken, some have been concealed. LOL. Sorry if it's too big. I'm too lazy to edit and I'm only using my sister's Arcsoft program to edit and re-size (this is her PC I'm using).

Even left his number so I can text him if I'm having trouble in Physics (which I'm taking next term o_o), Algebra and whatever stuff he's teaching even if ever something comes up and he can't teach there. :) Aw, I miss him. :( And Sir Solas (Bars/Barsolaso) and Ms. Pepper! The only three sensible teachers in that review school! x3 Ahh, the memories: -Ann Arbor -the back seats Jay, Idge and I owned -the fan behind me that I selfishly took for myself (LOL.) -the bleachers (to which until that day, Idge/Jay didn't know what it was called xD) -the girls in the class who just wore whatever they wanted (short skirts, unappropriate school attire, et cetera) and who ironed their hair while waiting for the class to start -the unruly "canteen" -my new and first camera cellphone which Jay and Idge I use every time classes would end -the THICK reviewer that I had to bring -the A'Prime: It works! photo -hours of staying in school because I didn't know how to commute + my Mother was always picking me up late and.. -my ex. :| [ link]

I got my heart broken yesterday. [08 Apr 2008|03:13am] [ mood | busy ] I have found the perfect dress for my supposed to be debut. What? Yeah, I know my birthday's in two weeks but my parents suddenly gave planning a try. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way you can cram planning a debut in less than three weeks. LOL. We looked for possible venues yesterday that wouldn't cost so much as the gifts I want aren't actually cheap. Everything ended by the decision of not going through it. Instead, I'd have more gifts. Hahaha. So. When are you guys free? I'm no longer available from 26th of April onwards so better start booking me ;] This blog is a short segue. Back to work~
